Sindragosa DOWN!

Greetings All!

We finally after months of wipes, DOWNED Sindy last week. A great achievement
for the guild and we got 1 night in on the Lich King fight to. We had both P.1 and
the transition phase down. And at the end of the night we made good improvement
on the second phase to. But atlas we had to call it that night and LK will be down

Soon enough. So we finally did good and got some progression again. The Second
group got abit neglected last week and only got the First quarter, which was not
good at all. Since we lately have ad so many good and integrated ppl leaving the
guild. That happened to the second group, but I had to do something to make sure

we got some progression and make sure the rest of the ppl dont leave, as others have
because of the lack of progression. This weekend I (Brathach) and Kwychang will take
1 group each and balance the groups again, since we now have sindy down. Some new experience from that and the LK fight can be shared between the groups. Both
groups

should have no problem getting to sindragosa and with the experience mentioned
above. Should be able to take her down again, so even thought allot of ppl have
left. I see good raiding days ahead, progression for both groups and loads of fun
for the guild. So all remember this is a social raiding guild, where fun is a huge part
of the raids, If you are interested in joining. Have a talk with any of the officers
mentioned in the last news post.

Thank you all of you who has decided to stay with us, even if some of your good
friends have not. Things will be back to normal soon enough.

Progression in ICC

Greeting to all

We now have 2 groups that have each week are downing 10 bosses fairly easy
as the second group 2 weeks back finally got down PP, Blood Queen and Dreamwalker.
Sindy was down to 15% last week and hoping to finally get her down as well soon.

The guild is still a social raiding guild and will not aim for being a hardcore one, but
we do raid most days and have our own rules to follow. Our 25man is only 1 time
a week so far, after ppl where failing to show up for the second night. We will work
out the 25man issues and we are always looking for more good raiders, that look

for raiding in a more relaxed environment... To enjoy it, not see it as work and such.
We have so far gotten first wing, Rotface and Festergut so far in the 25 man ICC.
PP has been almost downed and the same for Dreamwalker, so things are progressing.

We also arrange fun runs each week and even a learning ICC 10 raid for those that
dont get to be apart of the 10man progression run. So if you are interested in joining
the horn, have a talk with either Kwychang, Brathach, Elorizan, Suskie, Kria, Satharan Acefromspace or Busha...
Which are the leaders of the Horn of the Unicorn..

Changes On the Horizon.

Greeting to all the guest and memebers.

We have had an officer meeting and have gone over some things. We are working
on some nice things for the ppl that use the site may benefith from, we also made
a change. That gives only Solider rank and up the possibility to join our raids, for
this promotion. You only need to place a little intro about yourself and add your
char names in this forum post.

We have progressed well into the Lich Kings own terf and the group lead by Ace
has had a couple of tires on him. Yet to take him down, I finally have gotten back
to Raid Leading after a 5 month sick period off the game. So that is good, I have
the lead of the second group and we took down the Blood Princes as a guild first.
Though we still have some bosses left before we reach Sindra and The Lich King.

All in all, things are looking good for the horn. We have a 25man going into ICC
each week and we have gotten down first wing, Rot and Fester so far. Then
focused on Dreamwalker, which should be downed soon enough. Our social side
is booming as ever and the horns spirit is as alive as ever....

Greeting Guildies

New happening in the guild, read about it under Guild Events on forums.

New rules in Guild Rules and some addition to our raiding rules, read it at the forums. And YES, it will be getting more and more important to sign up, register for promotions and keeping track on what is happening here at the website.

Some cleaning amongst forums and users is also happening on a day to day basis right now. We try to not remove things or people that are active, if a mistake is made, please let us know and we will try and correct it.

Did we mention that there will be a new happening in the guild?

Yeah PP downed easely by a good group of hornies:D Was a awesome two nights when 10 dedicated hornies decided that the Proffesor had made his last crazy exsperiment, we wanted him down so bad that we flew through all bosses before him without a single wipe!! The Professor was a bigger challenge tho, but after a couple(18 wipes...chough) tries he was no longer a match to our skilled clan of horny hornies:D

Greetings Guildies

We are now expanding the membership in our guild rapidly, I do not have the exact numbers but alot of new members are joining us.
This is so much fun and this will give us so many new opportunities for the future.
This will also mean some hard work and some integration problems, all that we ask of you all is alittle patience. There are a number of issues that we have addressed and are working on but they will not be fixed over night.

It is easy to sit back and demand this and that, but it is alot of work behind it all.

All in all we are happy this is happening and with patience and understanding we will grow to a better guild

Reinforcements in management

Greeting guildies,

we have done some reinforcements in the leadership of our guild.

First of Elorizan and Kria has been promoted to Horn Captain, this gives them additional powers to handle mambers, enforcing rules and such.

We are very happy to announce that Acefromspace and Busha has accepted to become Offocers in our guild. We all think they will be good, fair and supportive officers.

Our guild is growing and new challenges await, with more members the workload is increasing and the patiens needed from all members rise. Hopefully all will pitch in so we can keep this guild growing and moving forward in all areas.

Greeting guildies

The news is moving swiftly over Northrend, the horn has under the leadership of Acefromspace conquered the first wing in Icecrown Citadel. It was made during 2 days of trying and with slightly different setup on the both days.

Now the attempts will continue since Icecrown has become bigger and new wings await.

Good Job all that was part of the effort.

we need to get better. There is a post in the forums regardig if and if so what day we shall do the weekly raid in the guild.
As of today there has been FIVE (5) answers. It will not be easy for raidleaders to help all get happy if we dont get any response from you all guildies. The post can be found here http://www.hornoftheunicorn.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=578.

Also, in the forums there are a good place to sign up if you are interested in raiding with the horn, what days that suits you and what level of gear/experience that you have. Use his opportunity to help raidleaders.

Merry Christmas Guildies!

We have had a very good raiding year this last half a year. We progressed from
doing barely Nax to Icecrown 10 just in the last week or so. We still have our
social side and leveling side for those who choose not to raid and we do not

have the fully strict rules as a raiding guild. But we do have our rules to, we
have gotten so far now and we look for new ppl for raiding to fill in and make
us be able to do fully 25 man. But we have done well and hope for the next

year will be even better. So ty all for your commitment and hope you have had
as much fun as i have. And my fellow officers have had, so merry Christmas to you
all. :)
